            Two 18 hole courses that climb mountains, go over waterfalls, and meander by streams and a pond.  They also
have a nice "clubhouse" ice cream parlor.  Very challenging, very well maintained, and lots of fun.

            Woodland golf is located in a secluded town near Pittsburgh, PA called Jefferson Estates.  If you are a local, it's free to play.  If not, play anyways.  This is a very unique course, set, literally, in the woodlands.  It is played on the natural floor surface of the infamous First Woods in Jefferson Estates, PA!  So check out the site will ya?

    Editors note: I tried to contact the individual for more information, but they never responded. I take their rankings with a grain of salt. If anyone has been to this course, I would appreciate an objective review. It sounds interesting to me and well worth a look for locals. The free to locals, in my opinion should make the value a 10, depending on the state of the course.

Water's Edge Mini-Golf

            Water's Edge Mini-Golf is located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, right in the middle of the Amish Country. The course is three years old and looks like the day it opened.  It is immaculately kept.  Landscaping, (in which I have a degree) surely cost a fortune as this course is built with varying degrees of topographical difference.  Three waterfalls two stream crossings and four ponds are inside this facility. This  must be one of the nicest in the U.S. Each time we visit from Atlanta, Georgia, we're sure to make this a stop.  People are so friendly, and where else can you park your car beside a horse and buggy and go play golf with an Amish couple!  The facility also has a clubhouse with an Ice Cream parlor, dipping some of the biggest cones I've ever seen!  I encourage anyone in the area to stop in and give it a try. See if you agree with me!
